Electric Peak, YNP // Summit or Die
Part 2 of achieving Electric Peaks summit! This time I am joined by two other guys, one of whom I meet the morning of. It was so great to have two people along for this adventure who were just as excited as I was. The weather couldn't have been more perfect for this hike and I am pleased to say no thunderstorms in the forecast. This is a long hike totaling at 20 miles with 5000 feet of elevation gain. This hike is not for the faint of heart and starting early is a must. This episode is called summit or die because Evan and I refuse any reason to turn around from the summit this time. It is summit or die!
