Constellations: 1_Overview & First Impressions | Euclidean Polyrhythmic Sequencer

Welcome to Constellations—a Euclidean polyrhythmic sequencer built for creating rhythms that move, shift, and interact with harmony in interesting ways. In this first video of the series, I'll give you a quick demo and explain what Constellations is all about. What you'll see in this video: A quick taste of what Constellations can do with a simple Euclidean pattern What the Euclidean algorithm is and why it's powerful for music A tour of the interface: transport bar, channel strips, sidebar, and detail panel How the "focus + context" layout works for efficient sequencing A preview of what we'll cover across the full series What is Constellations? Constellations is a sequencer based on the Euclidean algorithm, which spreads pulses evenly across a pattern to generate grooves, cross-rhythms, and polyrhythms instantly. It supports up to 32 independent channels, each with its own rhythm, modulation, and rhythmic-harmony behavior. In this series, we'll cover: Rhythm, Velocity, Duration, and Notes Contour, Polyphony, Strum, Chance, and Repeat The Harmony view and the rhythmic-harmony system And much more Whether you're completely new to Euclidean sequencing or you already use it and want more control, this series gives you a practical path through the plugin. Next video: Basics—interface organization, how channels work, and getting your first pattern playing.
