South Dakota Derecho - May 12/2022 - Watertown 80+ mph Winds

GoPro dashcam footage (with audio) of the derecho moving over our mobile mesonet vehicle while parked in the Stone’s Truck Stop parking lot in Watertown, South Dakota. I made the decision to shelter inside the truck stop as the storm approached. Several QLCS circulations were present along the leading edge, including a confirmed tornado in Castlewood to the south of Watertown.
