I wanted to take a moment to show you this beautiful Vacheron Constantin we have in stock right now, that I'm very excited to share with you. This is a Patrimony Daydate Automatic with a Platinum case and a Retrograde Day. For those of you who don't know, Retrograde is a very interesting complication that I love seeing particularly in dress watches, that established some sort of complication in a linear fashion as opposed to a circular fashion. As you'd imagine, most watches show the time, you know, on either a 12 or 24 hour calendar in a circle. Whereas something with a Retrograde Date would show it either in a linear or a semicircle fashion. What's interesting about this watch is, of course, once you start the beginning of the new month, instead of just cycling through with a date wheel, like most watches with this complication do, it sort of snaps back to the one position, which is an incredibly difficult thing to make a mechanical watch do. It's something that Vacheron, I think, is great at being one of the premier watchmakers of all time. This is just a really beautiful dress watch. It's obviously got a platinum case, incredibly elegant. This beautiful Vacheron strap in black, that you see. It has an automatic movement too, which is pretty vital for a Daydate watch, even if it is a dressier piece. The size here, this case being 37-millimeters, I think makes it a pretty modern size for a dress watch. It's definitely not something super small or something really classic and dressy like a Calatrava or anything like that. It's a 37-millimeter, a little bit more robust on the wrist. This automatic movement and the Retrograde complication does make it a bit thicker too. It's a lot more prominent on the wrist than a lot of other dress watches, especially for some really classic premier Swiss brands like this. The dial layout itself, I think is beautiful. One, the texture on this dial is stunning. I hope you get a chance to look at this close up because you could really get lost in this. Its use of space is absolutely beautiful. The Retrograde dial takes up a bit more space than something like a date wheel would. However, the fact that there really is a lot of negative space on the top half of the dial that it sort of takes up and it really has a beautiful balance. Of course you show the day of the week here at the bottom at six o'clock, and you've got Roman numerals all around the dial too. I think the use of space is absolutely incredible and does kind of use all 37-millimeters of this case size to do. At $15,000, I think this is an absolute steal for a platinum Vacheron watch, no matter what, and especially one with an incredible dial and an incredible complication like this.
