Ratenggaro Traditional Village is a village located on the edge of a beautiful beach. The Ratenggaro Traditional Village is located in Umbu Ngedo Village, Kodi Bangedo District, Southwest Sumba Regency, East Nusa Tenggara Province. There is no public accommodation that can be used by visitors to reach this village, so visitors must rent a vehicle or travel service from Tambolaka, which is about 56 km to the location of Ratenggaro Village. Road access from Tambolaka to Ratenggaro can be reached in 1.5 to 2 hours with well-maintained paved roads. One of the beautiful beaches in East Nusa Tenggara is Ratenggaro Beach. This beach is a blend of natural and cultural tourism because near the beach there is a traditional village called Kampung Ratenggaro with a unique and historic stone tomb right on the beach. Ratenggaro Beach has big waves with long rolls, and is perfect for those who like surfing. Unfortunately, there are no facilities for this challenging activity, such a condition becomes a big task for local governments.
