Xenoverse 3 gameplay finally dropped… And the internet is already losing its mind. After nearly 10 years of waiting since Xenoverse 2, fans finally got a real look at Dragon Ball Xenoverse 3 gameplay, and the reactions have been all over the place. Some people are excited. Some people are cautiously optimistic. And some people are acting like Xenoverse 3 already launched, flopped, and died in the same day. I have seen people saying Xenoverse 3 looks awful. I have seen people calling it Xenoverse 2 DLC. I have seen people saying the combat looks bad. I have seen people saying the game looks worse than expected. And I have even seen people say Bandai should have just kept making more Xenoverse 2 DLC instead. But are people being fair? Or is the Xenoverse 3 hate already getting out of hand? In this video, I go over the new Xenoverse 3 gameplay and address some of the negative reactions surrounding it. Because while I do think there are some fair concerns, I also think a lot of fans are judging this game way too early. We have seen very little of Xenoverse 3. The game is not out yet. The full combat system has not been fully explained. The full transformation system has not been shown. The online, customization, story, hub world, missions, races, and progression still have a lot we do not know about. So acting like Xenoverse 3 is already doomed based on one early gameplay showcase feels insane to me. That does not mean the game is above criticism. If you think the combat looks too familiar, I understand that. If you wanted a bigger visual jump after almost a decade, I understand that. If you are worried about transformations, custom characters, online gameplay, or whether this will feel like a true sequel, those are all fair concerns. But there is a difference between fair criticism… And deciding the game is trash before we even really know what it is. Xenoverse has always had its own identity. It is not Sparking Zero. It is not FighterZ. It is not Kakarot. Xenoverse is the custom character Dragon Ball power fantasy game. So if Xenoverse 3 still looks and feels like Xenoverse, I do not think that automatically makes it lazy. The real question is not: “Does Xenoverse 3 still look like Xenoverse?” The real question is: “Has Xenoverse 3 evolved enough?” And right now, I think it is way too early to say the game is doomed. So today we are talking about the Xenoverse 3 gameplay, the backlash, the tweets, the concerns, the overreactions, and whether Dragon Ball fans are being too negative too fast.
