How I Fixed My Chinese Mini Skid Steer - AGT LRT23 Rato R740 Engine

Is your Chinese mini skid steer shutting down under heavy workload? In this video, we diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair an AGT LRT23 Chinese mini skid steer powered by the Rato R740 739cc engine after the machine began stalling during hard work. After about 10–15 minutes of operation, the engine would lose power and shut down — leaving us searching for the root cause of the problem. We walk through the complete troubleshooting process step-by-step, including inspecting the fuel system, removing and cleaning the carburetor, checking fuel flow, and investigating possible engine starvation issues. What we discovered inside the AGT fuel filter was absolutely unbelievable! After backwashing the clogged fuel filter with fuel, debris and contamination poured out, confirming the engine was starving for fuel during high demand applications. Since the OEM AGT fuel filter costs an unbelievable $184, we replaced it with a budget-friendly $10 PowerCare fuel filter from Home Depot and put the machine back to work. The results? Full power restored and normal operation returned!
