In this episode of Tunaontour, we embark on a journey through the backroads and lesser-known corners of the O'Higgins and Maule regions, exploring the rich cultural and natural heritage of central Chile. We begin in San Fernando and travel to Nancagua, exploring the Colchagua Valley, with stops in towns like Chépica, Lalajuela, and Lolol, where winemaking and architectural traditions blend with local history. We visit the San Pedro de Alcántara stream, the Lo Valdivia salt flats, and, in Boyeruca, reflect on the impact of the 2010 earthquake and tsunami. We end our journey at the Laguna Torca National Reserve, a natural sanctuary ideal for birdwatching and wildlife viewing.
