As the founder of the legendary Berlin underground label Royal Bunker, which started as a freestyle studio, Staiger mentored today's rap stars like Kool Savas, Sido, K.I.Z, Eko Fresh, and Kay One during their early days in the hip-hop business. From 2008 to 2011, Staiger was editor-in-chief of rap.de. Now, Staiger's activities are more diverse: he works as a journalist, author, podcaster, and industrial climber. He is also deeply involved in politics. In this episode, we primarily discuss the origins and unique character of Royal Bunker, Staiger's journey from a Swabian native who spontaneously moved to Berlin and discovered the hip-hop scene, and his artistic work as a nude model.
