A last-minute morning outing at sea in Reunion Island! A huge thank you to Captain Jean-Philippe for answering my SOS and managing to get out despite the tight schedule. We started the outing on a very tricky FAD (Fish Aggregating Device)... very little activity, no boats striking, whether trolling, jigging, or using live bait. After several unsuccessful attempts, we decided to change spots and head towards the 12-mile mark. And then I thought: why not try this little rig that seems really promising? A few moments later... BOOM! A nice strike, as we say back home, and the result speaks for itself! A short, impromptu outing in difficult conditions, but a great surprise at the end of the line.
