Warzelnia Soli w Ciechocinku

A saltworks is a place where table salt is traditionally produced. Brine, concentrated in graduation towers, is heated in so-called pans. During the boiling process, salt crystals precipitate from the brine. The work is done by hand with simple tools. The salt is collected in a wooden evaporator and placed in piles. After evaporation, it is transported to a warehouse in wagons. The Saltworks are discussed by: Marek Grzelak and Aldona Nocna, a councilor with the Ciechocinek City Council.
