CPAP Camping

Pretty much every question that you may have has been answered in the comments below. There's a ton of great info given by a lot of people here on this old video, so watch the video, then read the comments :) Original video commentary. We use a 12VDC deep cell marine battery to run our cpap machine while camping. So far this summer we have been camping for over 2 months now and we have found that the battery only needs to be charged up once a week. I think that the most days that we have gone between charging the battery is about 10 and that was because my wife has mild sleep apnea and had unplugged the charger accidently when we were charging the other batteries. So it lasted an other 2 days on its own. I don't recommend going more than 7 days without recharging basically because not all batteries are equal. Some batteries may last longer and many will not last as long. A solar panel can also be added to the battery for day time charging every day but our solar charger finally gave up the ghost a couple of years ago and we haven't really seen the need to replace it so far. We use batteries to run the air bed pumps, our Basecamp hot water system, Ipad, cell phones along with the cpap so we have a lot of power being used on a weekly basis. So once a week we start up the generator and charge 3 batteries at once. It's an easy thing to set up the cpap for full time camping so watch and learn :)
