Let's Play SmackDown: Here Comes the Pain - Ultimate Edition Mod

With the 41st iteration of the granddaddy of them all, WrestleMania, coming up this weekend, it's time to look at another classic modded wrestling game. This time, we go to the PS2 for the PlayStation game considered the best wrestling game of the bunch. SmackDown: Here Comes the Pain was a major step forward for Yuke's on the PlayStation family of consoles. So much so that HCTP formed the basis of wrestling games from 2003 through to when Take Two took development in house. Through the years, fans have updated this classic with new wrestlers, attires, moves, arenas and more. Let's take a look at Here Comes the Pain with one of the most comprehensive update mods with The Ultimate Edition... (Please note that referring to WrestleMania by its number and/or as a "granddaddy" may still be banned by WWE for making it sound old. At least, it was under the previous boss.) It is the final game in the "SmackDown" series of games as it was replaced by the SmackDown vs. Raw series in 2004. The HTCP Ultimate Edition mod has been compiled by Ahmed Hassan (stylized as A7MED7ASSAN5). It contains new wrestlers, attire, arenas, moves, animations and more.
