The evaluation is done by two judges, each scoring from 0 to 50; one judge evaluates the competitor and the other evaluates the animal, totaling a score from 0 to 100. Rodeo is divided into several modalities, such as "bull riding, cutiano, bareback riding, bulldogging, barrel racing, saddle bronc riding, calf roping, and team roping".
