In this episode, we travel with our dog to Marysville Victoria, Australia, in our converted Ford transit campervan. We camped at Marysville Holiday Park, which I will show you around in this episode. Marysville is a town in the Yarra Valley, in Victoria, Australia. The Steavenson River runs through the town center and southeast to towering Steavenson Falls. The vast Yarra Ranges National Park includes Mountain Ash forest, tiered Keppel Falls, and Keppel Falls Lookout. A feature in Marysville is Bruno's Sculpture Garden, which displays life-sized terracotta sculptures and a gallery space. Below lists the places we visited in this episode. Bruno's Sculpture Garden Steavenson Falls Keppel Lookout Black Spur Drive Marysville Holiday Park Marysville country bakery Marysville information Centre Marysville old fashion lolly shop Steavenson Falls An easy 700 metre walk takes you to an awe-inspiring view of one of Victoria’s highest waterfalls. Plummeting 84 metres the falls have been a favourite since the 1860s. To get there drive to Steavenson Falls carpark, which is located 3km along bitumen on Falls Road. Alternatively take the Tree Fern Gully Trail, a scenic 3.4 one-way walk from the heart of town to the base of Steavenson Falls. Bruno's Sculpture Garden Established in 1996 Brunos Art and Sculpture Garden has been a paradise for art and garden lovers alike. Since the 7th February 2009 Fires, Bruno has rebuilt his home and gallery. The garden has blossomed into a new stage of life, most of his terracotta life-size sculptures have been restored and you can see his surviving paintings as well as new works in the unique new gallery space. A place to be enjoyed by all ages. We enjoy part-time van life, creating weekly episodes that are live at 5pm (AEST) Sundays, and sharing our experiences on our travels with our cavoodle, Twyla.
