My goal with this project is to popularize and disseminate the methods and approaches of horsemanship and ethology, so that we can all better understand and interact with horses together. Many themes are addressed through my content: theory, practice, science, detailed analyses, reflections, behaviors, etc., always emphasizing sharing and exchange. Questioning and open-mindedness are integral parts of the adventure. To support us and help us progress, many renowned professionals collaborate with Anima Equi. • TEAM INTRODUCTION • My name is Mathilde Chabany, and I began self-taught groundwork in 2014. Driven by the desire to share this passion, I created Anima Equi in 2015 on Facebook and started making videos on YouTube in 2016. I've worked alone on the project since its launch and developed it from A to Z, managing every step of the way. From 2015 to 2022, I've been accompanied by my two gray ponies, Ladakh and Chanel. Since 2016, I've worked with many of my owners' horses, who help me progress and illustrate my content. I've worked with dozens of them on a volunteer basis over the past 10 years. In 2023, I became the owner of Lovely Joy, a four-month-old Paint Horse filly when I met her, who has been with me every day ever since. And in 2024, my ultimate dream finally came true as I became a professional equine behaviorist, which allowed me to train both humans and horses in groundwork.
