Recipe 12 corn cobs free of kernels 4 cups of sugar 1 box of powdered pectin Boil cobs in enough water to cover cobs for 10 minutes. Strain 4 cups of liquid. Add the strained liquid back to the pan with one box of powdered pectin. Stir well to avoid clumping. Bring this mixture to a rolling boil. Add 4 cups of sugar at one time. Stir constantly and bring the mixture back to a rolling boil. Boil exactly 1 minute. Remove the mixture from heat. Skim foam if needed. Pour into jars to 1/4 inch headspace. Process half pints (jelly jars) for 10 minutes. Makes sure to make adjustments for your altitude if needed. Removes jars from canner after processing, and allow to cool for 24 hours without disturbing the jars.
