The Hobo Express (HD)

On April 13, through April 20, 2013, The Cape Cod Central Railroad ran excursions in Fall River, Ma. for school vacation. Trains departed at 9:45am with an additional run at 11:30am on Saturdays. On April 17, I went to the Fall River State Pier to see this train. In the lead out of Fall River was Mass Coastal GP28 2009. Followed by 2009 was passenger cars leased from the Iowa Pacific Railroad, also on the Polar Express, and at the end, SLRG E9A 2400 returned to Fall River. 2400 was also leased from the Iowa Pacific. The E9 is an interesting unit, with 6 axles, an operating red marker light below the headlight, and an operating beacon light on top of the cab. Thanks for Watching and enjoy!
