Hello! This is Honey Badger. Today is Part 1 of our comprehensive review of belt-scrolling fighting games. The games featured today are: Final Fight (Capcom / 1989) Alien vs. Predator (Capcom / 1994) Dungeons & Dragons: Shadow over Mystara (Capcom / 1996) Golden Axe: The Revenge of Death Adder (SEGA / 1992) Zero Team (Seibu Kaihatsu / 1993) Cadillacs and Dinosaurs (Capcom / 1993) Ninja Baseball Bat Man (IREM / 1993) Eat the World 2 Eat the Earth 2: Battle of the Red Wall (Warriors of Fate / Capcom / 1992) Die Hard Arcade (Sega / 1996) Undercover Cops (IREM / 1992) The Punisher (Capcom / 1993) Powered Gear (Armored Warriors / Capcom / 1994) Captain Commando (Capcom / 1991) Night Slashers (DECO / 1993) Violent Storm (Konami / 1993) Ninja Gaiden (Tecmo / 1988) Hook (IREM / 1992) Growl (Taito / 1991) Captain America and the Avengers (Captain America and the Avengers / DECO / 1991) This is a comprehensive review of the belt-scrolling fighting action games that men enjoyed playing in arcades. While they're often referred to as belt-scrolling action games, to be precise, they're a genre called Beat 'em up or Brawler, which combines the belt-scrolling mechanic with the ability to beat up enemies. I've previously covered the rankings, but this time, I've organized them without regard to rankings. Of course, I couldn't finish in one part, so I've split it into two parts. If necessary, I'll also make a third video, including games that made a name for themselves on home consoles and PCs. Don't forget to subscribe and like today! Press the alarm bell to see the next video. =================================== Kkultanjigom's Encyclopedia of Retro Games is out. Kkultanjigom's Extremely Personal Chronicle of Retro Gaming - Kkultanjigom has compiled his memories of the arcades and home consoles and games that represented the 80s and 90s, into a single book. Back then, the entertainment culture we enjoyed was more limited than it is today. Memories of playing in alleyways, childhood TV shows, and cartoons and animated films are all part of the story. But of all the memories, I can't forget the back-alley arcade games. Of these, I've included the arcade games and home consoles that I was most interested in. While this is a highly personal and subjective look at the history of retro gaming, I believe gamers who experienced it during that era will find much to relate to. The book's contents are organized chronologically, and include reviews of fun games from each era, selected by Honey Badger. Yes24 Sales Link http://www.yes24.com/Product/Goods/11...
