🚨 An extremely dangerous HEATWAVE is hitting France! Météo-France has just placed 35 departments on RED ALERT starting this Sunday, the highest alert level, and it's rare to see such a situation. Météo-France predicts the heatwave will be comparable to those of 2003 and 2019, meaning we're about to experience something very intense... The peak is expected between Sunday and Tuesday, with temperatures climbing to between 37 and 43°C, and some models are even predicting highs of up to 45°C in very localized areas! We could even break the record for the hottest day ever recorded in France, across all months. Nighttime temperatures will barely drop below 22°C, making the situation truly grueling. Adding to this is a drought approaching record levels and a forest fire risk that is spreading a little more each day.
