RL on Never Meeting 2Pac & Creating 'Until The End of Time'
http://www.vladtv.com - In this exclusive interview with VladTV, RL shares how he ended up on Tupac Shakur's hit single, "Until The End of Time." The former lead singer of Next says David Hollister was meant to be on the track, but the rapper's family went with him instead. After getting a phone call about the song, he was asked to sing Mr. Mister's 1985 single, "Broken Wings." The singer learned the award winning track in a short time and recorded his vocals. He says he knocked out the song in one take while being recorded. The visuals ultimately ended up in the video and the song was pushed as a first single for the rapper's posthumous album. RL explains he never got to meet Pac, but has met Biggie and Big Pun. Due to the drama surrounding the rapper, they were often in the same spaces, but never had the chance to meet.
