Marguerite Antonia Radclyffe Hall ( 12th August 1880 - 7th October 1943)

Radclyffe Hall, an openly lesbian author who identified as a "congenital invert," is primarily recognized for her groundbreaking novel, The Well of Loneliness. In addition to her literary contributions, she served on the Council of the Society for Psychical Research and was a fellow of the Zoological Society. The Pink Paper acknowledged her influence by ranking her sixteenth among the top 500 lesbian and LGBT heroes, highlighting her significance in both literature and advocacy. Hall's personal life included notable partnerships with Una Vincenzo, Lady Troubridge, a British sculptor, and Mabel Veronica Hatch Batten, a talented singer, pianist, and guitarist.
