Peacemaker is the Multiverse FINALLY Done Right

The MCU and DCEU both invested a lot into the multiverse being the next big draw for superhero movies, and both of them have not quite found success with the concept. With the DCEU being shut down and replaced with James Gunn's new DCU and the MCU's Multiverse Saga not looking like it's gonna be the Infinity Saga level success Kevin Feige was hoping for, it seemed like outside of using it for characters like Spider-Man, the X-Men, and Wolverine the multiverse as a storytelling device was gonna start disappear from these universes. But with season 2 of Peacemaker, the multiverse seems to be a big part of the show's plot. With John Cena playing two versions across different worlds, and Guy Gardner, Hawkgirl and the Justice Gang replacing Flash, Aquaman, Superman, and the Justice League, is there hope for the multiverse again on film? What makes the DCU's version better than the version seen in Loki, Dr Strange and the Multiverse of Madness, Fantastic Four First Steps, and other MCU films as we continue towards the eventual culmination of this saga in Avengers Doomsday and Secret Wars?
