Raymondskill Falls The Biggest Drop In Pa
Lets take a look at Raymondskill Falls which at 180 feet is considered the tallest waterfall in the state of Pennsylvania. The falls have 3 distinct drops and are set in a rugged gorge of hemlock and white pine. Unfortunately many of the hemlock are sick or have already succumbed to the ravages of the invasive species hemlock woolly adelgid. This was our first stop of the day, later we would walk the nearby Cliff Trail and return via a series of connectors to form an amazing loop trail thru the Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area.
