Did you know that, according to historical sources, students of natural sciences of the Krakow Academy were already told about the techniques of alcohol distillation during the reign of Casimir the Great? Today our knowledge and technological possibilities are completely different. To learn about these processes inside out, we visited unique plants in Toruń, founded in 1884, where high-quality pure and quality vodka is produced. Vodka which is produced exclusively from agricultural products in accordance with the old Polish tradition of production based on cereals and potatoes. Let’s see how traditional vodka is made.
