How I Accidentally Made This Chef Knife
I originally had a totally different knife planned but the switch to my press broke and I didn’t want to forge the knife without the press so I decided to make a smaller utility knife. The accidental part is that I realized I had enough material to make a full chef knife so while forging it transitioned from my utility knife profile into a chef knife. As I was grinding it I kept changing my mind about how I wanted it to look so everything about the knife came into to place as I went on making it. The handle material is marble wood on the sides, wenge for the frame, and black linen micarta pins.
