We're on Sweden's best perch river at prime time. They say the fish bite like crazy here. Apparently, there are no perch under 30 cm. However, this year there's a significant water shortage. No snow in winter, no meltwater, and therefore no current. This is slowing down the treacherous spring perch. But the anglers fishing from the other side are occasionally catching a fish. A quick change of strategy is needed. What they're managing with live bait and shrimp, we can do too! And with rubber worms that we simply cast out and leave. Completely crazy. But it really works.
