Evo kako treba pripremiti muškatle za cvetanje

During the growing season, it is advisable to feed the muscats and provide them with enough moisture, but not too much moisture - this causes rotting of the roots. Muscats are transplanted every spring and then it is necessary to shorten their veins and twigs a little. In the spring, about 20-30% of the plant is pruned, then the muscatles are watered, and two to three weeks later they are transplanted into new soil. At the end of May, they can already be taken outside and placed on the balcony or in the garden. Muscats are propagated generatively (by seed) or vegetatively (by cuttings). In order to have Muscat in the spring, cuttings - pelzers - are prepared at the end of October. Younger people are chosen, preferably 3-4 juniors, one of whom must be in the country. They are planted in boxes at a distance of 8-10 cm and placed on a windowsill where there is enough light. They are watered regularly and fed occasionally. During the winter, the shoots that follow should be cut as low as possible, so that the bokor is as branched as possible. In the spring, when the danger of frost has passed, each muscat is planted in a separate pot or box. Muscats are very suitable for growing on windows or terraces, preferably in a sunny place, protected from the midday sun. It is preferable to grow them in relatively small containers, so that the soil can dry out between waterings. They should be watered moderately and fed regularly. Muscats, like other plants whose leaves have hairs, should not be fed foliarly (by spraying over the leaves). During the growing season, top dressing should be done by watering 1-2 times a week. It is necessary that the plants have enough moisture, because otherwise the muscat leaves will wither. Too much moisture causes rotting.
