Bacoor Marching Band Parade. Feast of San Miguel Arkangel 2025

Bacoor is the Marching Band Capital of the Philippines. This was declared in 2020 with the signing of Proclamation No. 939. This official designation recognizes Bacoor as the "birthplace" of the country's oldest living marching bands, establishing its enduring role as the "home of community marching bands", and underscoring its critical position in the nation's musical heritage. The best time to witness the local community marching bands perform their best, showcase their new uniforms, play their latest repertoire, and bring out their full line up is during the annual feast of San Miguel Arkangel being held second Sunday of May. This year, 29 marching bands came to perform during the parade, and we were very fortunate to witness their performances.
