The night at exactly 25:00 is my absolute sanctuary, my very own Position Zero. When the world sleeps, I retreat into the quiet dark to escape the suffocating reality of the day. I sing to the moon because it is the only light that accepts my broken pieces. Kanade watches over the group, pouring her life into every melody like a shooting star to save Mafuyu from fading away into an empty abyss. Mafuyu sings of imagining different lives and playing a part because she has completely lost her true identity under the crushing weight of her mother's expectations. Her plea to fly to the star is a desperate cry to finally feel something real again. Ena raises her voice to demand attention, her lyrics reflecting her painful thirst for recognition and her deep fear of being left behind by those with naturally shining eyes. Mizuki harmonizes with the fear of the dawning day and wishes to stop the hands of the clock entirely. The morning bird brings the terrifying reality where Mizuki must constantly hide their secret, terrified that the truth will shatter the only place they truly belong. Together, I overlap my heartbeat with theirs. Even if I am just a scattered fragment spilling into the morning light, I will hold onto them.
