Text: Romans 8:12-17 https://rlcgb.tiny.us/Jul12Epistle What if I told you that God doesn't want you to call Him "Lord" or "Master" — but "Daddy"? In Romans 8, Paul reminds us we didn't receive a spirit of slavery and fear. Instead, we received the Spirit of adoption. We're not just servants — we're CHILDREN. Heirs of God. Fellow heirs with Christ. That means you can run to your Heavenly Father with every need, every pain, every struggle, crying "Abba, Father!" Our world says "I owe it to myself to be happy." But God says something better: "You owe Me gratitude, and I owe you everything — life, salvation, eternal glory." Through baptism, He adopted you into His family. Through Christ's death and resurrection, He secured your inheritance. Yes, being His child might mean rejection by the world. But it also means walking hand-in-hand with a Father who never abandons, never abuses, and never checks out. He's always there.
