A 52-year-old man allegedly shot his neighbor's cat with an air rifle from his apartment. Kitta Fussel's owner says he had previously shot her dog and another cat as well. The public prosecutor's office and the state criminal police office are investigating. A firearms expert is examining the pellet found inside Kitta Fussel. The Königstein District Court sentenced the man to a fine for violating the Animal Welfare Act. However, the defendant appealed. Now the Frankfurt Regional Court is hearing the case.
