The Slav Defense is particularly suited to more aggressive chess players and the Slav is a very aggressive chess opening when played correctly. Please try the Slav Defense, particularly if you play the Caro Kann. The Caro Kann Defense is one of the simplest chess openings and is very positional in nature. The Caro Kann Defense does not require memorising every single move in the opening but I believe the Caro Kann is best served when positional and tactical ideas and motifs are understood and applied when deemed necessary.
