2009 ALDS, Game 2: Twins @ Yankees
In Game Two of the 2009 ALDS, Minnesota took a 3-1 lead into the Bottom of the Ninth, but Joe Nathan couldn't bring home the save and gave up a two-run home run to Alex Rodriguez. Then in the 11th, Joe Mauer's would-be double down the left field line was wrongly ruled foul, and despite three more hits in the inning, the Twins didn't score. That set up Mark Teixera for a game-winning homer in the bottom of the frame, and another October heartbreak for Minnesota.
