Disclaimer: I’m learning hockey from scratch, so everything I share is from my own beginner journey and what works for me. I’m not a coach or instructor, just someone documenting the process. Getting my first pair of hockey skates was exciting… and a little overwhelming. In this video I show my True hockey skates, talk about sizing (EU 41 / UK 7–8), lacing, skate sharpening and what I do with my skates after practice. I also share how they felt in the beginning, why they hurt at first, and how they started to feel better over time.
