The Four UK Heatwaves of 2025

In 2025, the United Kingdom had four heatwaves during the summer, which lead to the Met Office calling it the country's warmest summer on record. While temperatures higher than those recorded in the heatwaves have been seen before, these heatwaves brought long dry spells without rain. Seeing how dry the fields were further south inspired me to make this video as a way to show first hand how it's impacting us in the UK, since temperatures aren't supposed to be breaking records like in sports competitions. Climate change is a global event. We should learn from our mistakes, and work together while it's still reversible. During the summer last year, I was invited to take part in a project with BlueJam Arts called Jam for Climate, which inspired me to make an EP to help raise awareness by sharing our experience of how we're being affected by it.
