NM Dan Heisman takes 3 positions from the new book "Evaluate Like a Grandmaster" by GM Perelshteyn and FM Solon & discusses how to analyze the position & takes a stab at evaluation. Note1: During the video the engine is usually running on the upper right. Dan was not using it to analyze (else he would have done better!) but the viewer can see the engine analysis & evaluation. Note2: in the 3rd puzzle, Dan put an extra black bishop on c8! Luckily he assumed the position was even and analyzed & evaluated "normally" before correcting the position.
