June 18th 2026 Long Island Metro Fishing Report with Matthew Broderick

Fishing action remains steady across Long Island as striped bass continue to provide the bulk of the excitement from Montauk Point to the Western Sound. Quality bass to 50 pounds were reported from both boat and shore anglers, while bluefish are becoming more consistent in eastern waters. The South Shore saw solid action on stripers, weakfish and keeper fluke, including a 7.3-pound weakfish from Great South Bay. North Shore anglers found success trolling mojos and working topwater plugs, while freshwater fishermen connected with rainbow trout, largemouth bass and panfish. Offshore prospects continue to improve as attention begins shifting toward the canyons, making for a diverse mix of opportunities across the region. 00:00 Intro 00:50 Fishing News 01:49 Podcast Update https://www.thefisherman.com/article-... 02:18 Canyon Runner Offshore Report https://canyonrunner.com 07:37 Around The Map https://marinemate.com/ 11:44 Dreamboat Standings https://www.thefisherman.com/category... 13:26 Montauk -Timothy O'Rourke http://montaukpointflyfishing.com/ https://thexflats.com/ 15:07 Northport Mark McCowan https://www.cowharbortackle.com/ 19:39 Fly Report Paul McCain from River Bay Outfitters https://www.riverbayoutfitters.com/ 20:18 Hawaiian Dan    / talkfishtvhawaiiandan   21:37 Rye NY Nuno Decosta Tyalure Tackle 22:39 West End Robert Greco lioutdoorsman.com 25:53 Mark Sedotti Subscribe https://www.thefisherman.com/subscribe/ E-News https://www.thefisherman.com/e-news-s...
