Particle in a Box, or Particle in an Infinite potential well (square/rectangular) is a common and important problem in Quantum Mechanics. In this video, I discuss the Quantum behavior op a particle confined to a box. to make the problem simpler, we assume that the particle's motion is restricted to one dimensions. In such a case let's suppose the particle is confined in between x=0 and x= L where it encounters an impenetrable barrier. So the potential in between 0 and L is zero but infinite every where else. athe way to solve this problem is to solve th Schrodinger's Equation.
