Making the custom firewall - 64 Toyota Stout build
Making the firewall to accomodate the 302 Windsor and meet up to the new floor pans. Firstly I needed to move the steering shaft across towards the engine slightly so I reshaped the side of the tunnel for it to fit. I then patterned the top panels with cardboard and worked out the bead rolled design. I wanted something nice and simple that also served a purpose - the swage lines allow water to flow outwards away from the engine bay. The front of the firewall was also fairly simple in its design with the beadrolling acting as reinforcement for where the inner guards will bolt on. Yeah the music sucks but I’m struggling to find songs on artlist that aren’t autotuned or pop 😅
