Allis Chalmers Gleaner combines at work.

Today we are, once again, in the time machine for a trip back to the glory days of the Allis Chalmers Gleaner combine. The Gleaner company built their first self propelled combine in 1923 and went on to become the number one self propelled combine manufacturer in the USA. A small group of enthusiasts decided to celebrate 100 years of Gleaner combines by gathering together a fleet of four machines and putting them to work in a field of barley.
