TAT2025 Day 04

TAT 2025 Day 4 August 20 (Wednesday) Asheville, NC to Robbinsville, TN [151 miles] Jason rejoined us after fixing his bike we left Airbnb southeast of Asheville as a group of 4 again. Travelled through Asheville to meet back up with the TAT northwest of Asheville. Made our way on the Blue Ridge Pkwy toward Great Smokey Mtn pass (New Found Gap) to find it was closed due to wash out near Gatlinburg, TN. Detoured through Cherokee, Bryson City and then up NC28 to catch Hwy 129. TAIL OF THE DRAGON (Section of Hwy 129, 11 miles/318 curves) Added must have badge of honor for motorcycle (Dragon Sticker) 0:00 - Introduction 0:32 - Another ride into the clouds 4:00 - Meeting back up with the TAT 5:57 - Diverted from New Found Gap 8:06 - Tail of the Dragon! 16:42 - Conclusion
