It is a semi major procedure to be surgically done and chances of complications during such procedures are 1 to 2 % as it can happen with any procedure. Tubal recanalization procedure before you for that, you have to think and investigate if there is any other factor for infertility. You have to get the semen test of the husband done you have to do her hormone levels her AMH levels and have to know correctly if this is the only cause and if this is corrected, then the success rate will be good, then only she is a fit candidate for a tubal recanalization procedure this is done by laparoscopy or open surgery. It is a very skillful procedure and it is considered as a semi major procedure and regarding the safety, the procedure is I % to 2% chances of complication, as in the complication explained in any major surgical procedure, the rate is same, but the success rate of this surgery is only 30 to 50%.
