This makes shifting firmer and more precise. It can be used with any type of original H-shaped lever. Installation is very simple. Just replace the original shifter with the AG Components shifter with a rod. Keep the shifter in Neutral and the lever in Neutral. Insert the shifter into the correct position and check the rod adjustment with the terminal labeled "unibal." After adjusting, tighten the screws, and you're done. If the shifting isn't correct, the adjustment will have to be made manually at the top. Simply loosen the screw (Allen key 6) and move it left or right until you find the correct position for your shifter's shifting.
