As the days shorten, the nights get cooler, and the trees begin to turn 100 shades of oranges, reds, and browns it becomes very clear that Autumn has arrived. On the fishing front, this change of seasons is an exciting time as from now on in, winter mode is activated. However, not before we have one more session on a favourite summer Roach venue, in one last bid to find that specimen fish before they move off into their deeper, winter holding areas. This area has thrown up some of our best individual specimens, including 2 PBs, but it is a fickle area; one day, yielding great sport and others see it refuse to give up its secrets.
