Friday Night Funkin' is a rhythm game in which the player controls a character called Boyfriend, who must defeat a series of opponents in order to continue dating his significant other, Girlfriend. The player must pass multiple levels, referred to as "weeks", each containing three songs. Each week, the player faces a different opponent, though some deviate in structure from this via the inclusion of multiple opponents. During gameplay, the opponent will sing a pattern of notes (represented as arrows) which the player must then mirror by using the arrow keys or the W, A, S, and D keys. Some songs introduce more complicated patterns, with the player's pattern sometimes varying from the opponent's or both singers engaging in a duet. This time, we’re singing against a new set of Sonic characters from Sonic.EXE and Creepypasta. The fresh challengers include Tails Doll, Phantom Tails & Knuckles, Dr. Eggman/Robotnik, and Fleetway Super Sonic. Both Lord X and Majin Sonic have gotten remastered sprites and music. The new remixes are incredible, though I still have a soft spot for the original ones. The endless, looping songs are fantastic. The Sonic animations have also been remastered and extended, with a ton of new game over screens. It seems like almost everything has been updated, except for Sunky. Oh, and they've also added a hidden character: Sanic Hegehog. There are plenty of secret codes you can enter to unlock the latest hidden songs and hilarious memes, and I’ll guide you through getting them all. Just follow the timestamps if you want to access them. This updated Sonic.EXE, which isn't much of a horror mod is definitely worth playing. Also, one last thing: to unlock the sound test, you’ll need to replay the story mode and finish all the songs there.
