The dancer performing in solidarity with the women in Iran - BBC News
Sarina is a dancer who left Iran three years ago but is closely following the women she knows who are risking their lives to march the streets. Anti-government protests have swept across the country sparked by the death in custody of Mahsa Amini. The 22-year-old was detained by morality police for allegedly wearing her hijab (headscarf) "inappropriately". Dancer Sarina was banned from performing in Iran but is now safe and has been living in another country. She is sharing her work in solidarity with the people demonstrating back home.
