After exploring the Gerbang Raung tourist area in Jambewangi Village, Sempu, Banyuwangi, we continued our journey to the Watu Gedhek Forest Tourism Area, only about 1.5 kilometers from our previous location. According to local residents' directions, we finally found the location, which now appears abandoned but still holds extraordinary natural charm. Here, we encountered the natural beauty of large moss-covered rocks, a small waterfall flowing from a cliff crevice, and a natural pool with crystal-clear water. Unexpectedly, we also met a caretaker and one of the managers of the tourist area, who explained that Watu Gedhek used to be a popular tourist destination but is now poorly managed. Watu Gedhek itself is a unique natural rock cliff resembling woven bamboo, or "gedhek" in Javanese, with a spring that is still used by local residents.
