JUSTICE LIFU MUST GO! - ADC Protesters Stage Protest, Warn No Election if ADC is not on the Ballot

National Youth Wing of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), alongside resilient comrades and party loyalists, directly stormed the gates of the Federal High Court, barricading the premises in an unyielding demand for the immediate dismissal of Justice Peter Odo Lifu. The temple of justice cannot be converted into a political marketplace where the democratic rights of millions of young Nigerians are auctioned off to the highest bidder. We stood as the unbreakable shield of our democracy, refusing to sit idly by while compromised benches attempt to artificially contract the political space and manufacture a two-party monopoly ahead of the upcoming general elections. Our aggressive presence at the court gates is a direct, nonviolent response to flagrant judicial rascality and a systemic betrayal of the constitution. Under suit number FHC/ABJ/CS/2637/2026, a highly controversial and politically motivated ruling was delivered, ordering INEC to deregister our great party alongside four other opposition platforms. This desperate overreach brazenly defied a binding Court of Appeal order that explicitly stayed proceedings on the matter.
