Jackie Brown Plays North Cheam Wurlitzer

Jackie Brown Organist plays the Granada North Cheam Cinema Wurlitzer. This has been taken from a private recording made in March 1962 on a reel to reel tape recorder. The tape for many years had been stored in a damp attic so was in very poor condition. I have tried as best as I can to restore this tape and then transfer this, but it's still not that good. But I thought this was such a rare recording I would include this on YouTube. Sadly I never got to go in the Granada North Cheam cinema, or hear Jackie Brown playing live he was a fine musician I remember reading he could play a multitude of instruments and was a fine organist and pianist as well. The Granada North Cheam closed its doors as a cinema on the 18th October 1969 and was demolished. The Wurlitzer organ is still intact and is in private preservation in the North Chesire / Manchester area of the UK. I believe the English Horn Rank Found its way to Paul Kirner's fantastic Compton / Wurlitzer organ at Compton Lodge Sapcote Leicestershire. This is one of the few Granada Wurlitzers I have never seen myself.
